Laycee Lee and Granite Station is a Traditional Bluegrass Band located in Clinton, Tennessee. Together this amazing group has over 30 years of musical experience. They are all multi-talented when it come to various musical instruments, and enjoy playing the traditional bluegrass music that has set its roots for the groups of today.
Granite Station has released there album- Laycee.Lee & Granite Station :You Win Again. They have had request for CD’s and songs from as far away as Ireland, Japan, and Holland. They are now in the process of there NEW Gospel Album- Amazing Grace, with special guest Kody Norris, and Wayne Brady. They are also preparing for their country show in July, -The Colgate Country Countdown- in Clinton, Tennessee.
When it comes to Influences the band has many. Yet, they have three that stands out among the rest. Those three are Dr.Ralph Stanley, Bill Monroe, and Jimmy Martin. Other influences are: Rhonda Vincent, The Stanley’s, Flatt and Scruggs, The Dillard’s, Monroe Brothers, The Carter Family, Jim Van Cleve, The Isaacs, Dolly Parton, Porter Wagner, Sammy Adkins, Carrie Hassler, Johnny Cash, June Carter, Doyle Lawson, Cumberland Gap Connection, and many others who have written their name in Bluegrass History.
