Laycee Lee -R.Guitar- Lead & Harmony Vocals

Laycee Lee Mack, only 16 years of age, has been singing and performing since she was three years old. She grew up in Clinton, Tennessee, and has been an active member in her community. Although she has been singing and performing for eight years she has only been playing guitar for two, but it don’t stop there! She has been playing fiddle for almost four years, mandolin for a year an a half, stand-up bass for over two years, and is now teaching herself the banjo. She self-taught herself on every instrument she knows, and loves trying new things. At age five she was cast in all of her Elementary school musicals, and in Middle school she was a peer mediator and on the Volleyball team. She spent only one year in High School, but during that year she made great friends, and was a active member of her chorus class held by Mrs.Sheafer.

Alex Leach -Mandolin- Lead & Harmony Vocals

Alex first heard Bluegrass at age 5 when he stumbled across Bill Monroe's version of White House Blues. Since then, he has been given many opportunities in the music business. The first one came at age 9, when Alex met the manager of WDVX Radio in Knoxville, TN (Tony Lawson) and was asked to become a Bluegrass DJ two times a week on the air, which broadcasts world wide. At age 11, Alex began singing and playing the mandolin and guitar by ear, and was heavily influenced by the style of Ralph Stanley and Bill Monroe. In 2003, he began performing with another one of his heroes, Russell Wilson (of The Wilson Brothers), and in 2004 became a member of East Tennessee group: The Mystery Mountain Boys. Also at this time, he was awarded SPBGMA's International Bluegrass DJ of the year in 2003 and 2005.Now, Alex 19 years old has made countless CD's with Countless bands. He enjoys playing music and some day hopes to make a profession out of it someday. So tune in to WDVX either online at, www.wdvx.com, or on the radio at dial 89.9 FM.

Brannon Hyder -Stand Up Bass-

Brannon Hyder is a born again believer in Jesus Christ. He is also a preacher of the gospel. He was called to preach in May of 2007 and has been going ever since. He began playing music at the age of 13. The first instrument he learned was the guitar. So he stuck with the guitar for about 3 years, and then decides to move to the banjo. Then he moved to the Bass. And that he said was when he realized that he is natural bass player. Rowdy (a guy that works at Ciderville Music Store) showed me three chords and he took off from there. Now being 20, that’s all that I play. Some of his biggest influences in music are, Jerry Douglas, Ralph Stanley, Earl Scruggs, Edgar Meyer, Scott Vestal, Rob Ickles, and David West. And the list just goes on and on. His mom was probably the biggest influence in my music career. If it wasn’t for her he wouldn’t be playing the great music that many have known to love today.
